We always customize our support packages to fit the particular application we are designing for. Types of support we can provide include:
PROJECT DOCUMENTATIONTo a process system operator, the owner's manual is integral to, and an extension of, the system itself. Should a problem or question arise, it is the first line of defense against a production snag. All of our control and automation projects have a documentation package included in their system price. Typical items include startup/shutdown sequence, troubleshooting guide, vendor component info, electrical and process drawing sets, program and screen printouts, and software archive. The complexity and quantity of these packages can be tailored to each customer's needs.STARTUPThe Controls Engineers who designed and built your automation system are the same personnel who travel to your facility to commission it. They make sure all components are installed as intended. They confirm that all field wiring is terminated properly. They test all aspects of the control and operator interface software to confirm functionality. And they make sure that all network connections between components are configured and working properly. When their work is complete you will have a fully tested and functional system.TRAININGYour employees are your company's greatest resource. But it does no good to upgrade your plant automation if the technology is not well understood by those assigned to use it. That is where C.S.i. can assist by bridging that knowledge gap. We regularly hold training classes for our customers' employees, not just for newly installed systems, but also refresher courses on older systems as well. Our technical personnel have a very diverse range of backgrounds involving aspects of automation, instrumentation, programming, information systems, motion control, power quality, project management, etc. We can tailor a technical training program that will fit both your needs and your budget.VALIDATIONIf yours is an industry requiring formal documentation of systems and processes, we can help by developing and Installation/Operation/Process Qualification Program to fit your specific application. We will work with your personnel to test and verify all criteria as required by your specific regulatory agencies.N.I.S.T. CALIBRATIONWe can perform instrumentation calibrations using state-of-the-art test equipment. All before and after readings, as well as incremental test points, will be recorded. The measuring of pressure, temperature, flow and speed in electrical and pneumatic circuits are included in our capabilities. We will provide a summary book of calibrations and findings upon completion.PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE (PM)
We will do an in-depth analysis of your process or system, then upon
completion of our research, prepare a PM program for your maintenance
personnel to apply. These types of programs put you in a proactive,
rather than a reactive, position in regard to machine uptime and
component life cycles.
